Operating precautions for the stainless steel threaded valve joint :

2026-06-10 - Leave me a message

(1) Stainless steel valves should be prevented from coming into contact with other metals, and attention should be paid to preventing foreign objects such as garbage from entering. They should be stored in a well ventilated environment.

(2) In order to protect the inner gasket of the ball valve joint, the ball valve should be in the fully open state, and the gate valve, globe valve, and check valve should be stored in the fully closed state.

(3) Before pipeline construction, it is necessary to confirm the condition of the joints, whether there is oil contamination, etc. If there are foreign objects attached, they should be removed.

(4) There are fixed flow direction markings on the stainless steel threaded valve body joint. During pipeline construction, the flow direction indicated on the valve body should be identified, and the fluid direction during installation should be consistent with the arrow direction on the valve body.

(5) When connecting the steel pipe to the stainless steel ball valve, first use a wrench to fix the valve end near the steel pipe side, and then use pipe pliers to tighten the steel pipe. If the thread is tightened too tightly, the end of the steel pipe may damage the interior of the ball valve.

(6) When tightening bolts, do not only tighten one side, but also tighten the bolts on the corresponding diagonal.

(7) For valves using sealing rings, due to the characteristics of the sealing rings, the pressure of the sealing components will decrease during storage, leading to leakage. Loose screws must be tightened before use. During normal use, screws should also be regularly checked for looseness.
