The Dragon Boat Festival, observed on the 5th day of the 5th lunar month, commemorates the ancient poet Qu Yuan, who drowned himself in protest against corruption. To honor him, people:Race dragon boats (symbolizing the rescue attempt)Eat zongzi (sticky rice dumplings wrapped in bamboo leaves)Hang aromatic herbs (for health and protection)
