Titanium is commonly used in high-performance parts, but its processing is more difficult than that of most metals. The unique properties of titanium present numerous challenges, and a thorough understanding of these challenges is necessary to efficiently produce robust and durable components.


  • Low thermal conductivity


 Titanium and steel have poor thermal conductivity. The heat generated during cutting will remain near the cutting tool and the workpiece, causing rapid wear of the cutting tool, color change of the surface, and deformation. Therefore, processing strategies must be reasonably arranged to avoid heat              accumulation, thus ensuring the accuracy of the parts.


  • High strength and elasticity


Titanium - this material does not lose its strength at high temperatures. However, its elasticity causes rebound during cutting and bending processes, making it difficult to achieve precise dimensions.
