The brushed & passivated surface features low vacuum outgassing and long reusable lifespan. Custom sizes and lug structures are acceptable to fit various optical coating equipment.

Q2:Can this 6061-T6 tray be reused many times?

Yes. 6061-T6 has outstanding corrosion resistance against alcohol, alkaline degreasers and coating cleaning solvents. After removing residual coating via ultrasonic cleaning, the plate can be reused for hundreds of coating batches without rust, pitting or structural deformation.

Q3: Does 6061 material cause contamination inside the vacuum coating chamber?

Very minimal outgassing. Compared with cast aluminum, recycled alloy or zinc-rich 7075, 6061-T6 has uniform Mg-Si alloy composition with nearly zero volatile residues. It meets the strict cleanliness requirements for optical thin-film coating and will not generate defects like stains or haze on light guides.

Q4:Will the 6061-T6 plate deform after repeated high-temperature coating cycles?

No. 6061-T6 is age-hardened aluminum with excellent dimensional stability. Its low thermal expansion coefficient keeps the concentric ring grooves and flat bearing surface consistent after hundreds of heating & cooling cycles.
