Technical requirements for casting

1. The casting tolerance zone is symmetrical to the basic size configuration of the blank casting.


2, the surface of the casting is not allowed to have cold insulation, cracks, shrinkage and penetration defects and serious defects (such as undercasting, mechanical damage, etc.).


3, the casting should be cleaned, no burrs, flash, non-processing indicates that the pouring gate should be cleaned and flush with the surface of the casting.


4, the casting on the non-processing surface of the casting and the logo should be clearly recognizable, the position and font should meet the requirements of the drawing.


5, the roughness of the non-machined surface of the casting, sand casting R, not more than 50μm.

6, castings should be removed from the pouring gate, flying thorns, etc. The residual amount of the sprue on the non-machined surface should be leveled and polished to meet the surface quality requirements.


7, the molding sand, core sand and core bone on the casting should be removed.


8, the casting has a inclined part, its dimensional tolerance zone should be symmetrical configuration along the inclined plane.


9. The molding sand, core sand, core bone, fleshy and sticky sand on the casting should be smoothed and cleaned up.


10, right and wrong type, convex casting bias, etc., should be corrected to achieve a smooth transition, a guarantee of appearance quality.

11, the crease of the non-processed surface of the casting, the depth is less than 2mm, and the spacing should be greater than 100mm.


12, the non-processed surface of the machine product castings need to be shot peening or roller treatment to meet the cleanliness of Sa2 1/2 level requirements.


13, castings must be water toughened.


14, the surface of the casting should be smooth, the gate, burr, sticky sand, etc., should be removed.


15, castings are not allowed to have cold insulation, cracks, holes and other casting defects that are harmful to the use of casting.
